Blacksmithing and wheelwright classes are taught at the History Center through Escondido Adult School. Both beginning and advanced classes are offered. Contact the History Center for more info.

Calendar
The Escondido History Center's annual car show fills the park with some of the finest vehicles around. You'll enjoy strolling the park to view over 200 hot rod, classic, antique and muscle cars. A DJ spinning tunes, vendors, raffle, and a special awards ceremony at 2:30, make this one of the nicest day of the year in the park. Don't forget to tour the History Center museum too. Spectators free, vehicle entry fee is $25.

USA Multicultural is organizing a day of dance and music in the park. So bring your family and enjoy another free community event in our downtown park.

Cruising the Creek

Join with others to pray on the Global Day of Prayer. Gather on the train depot deck to pray for our community, our nation, and our world. Around the globe, people will be all be praying With the world as they pray FOR the world. Locally, they will be praying specifically for families, government leaders, first responders, businesses, media, Native Americans, immigrants, the disenfranchised, care-givers, educators, military and spiritual care-givers.

Global Day of Prayer

Find a spot and relax during Stage 1 of Amgen Tour of California. World class cyclists will start and end their long bike ride nearby, at Grand Ave and Broadway. A Food Truck Rally takes over Broadway between Woodward and Valley Parkway, on the east side of the park. The Jam in the Park will features local musicians, dancers and "a few surprises."
